Our Partners
Accessible Playgrounds NZ welcomes partners who share our commitment to accessible play, inclusive communities and better information for families across New Zealand.
Working together for accessible play
Accessible Playgrounds NZ exists to help families find playgrounds that are more accessible, inclusive and practical to use.
Partners can help strengthen this work by supporting the map, sharing local knowledge, promoting inclusive playground information and helping more families discover places where children can play and belong.
Who we welcome as partners
Partnership can take many forms. We welcome connection with organisations, businesses and community groups that care about access, inclusion and family participation.
Community Partners
Local groups, charities, disability organisations and community networks that support families and inclusive public spaces.
Playground & Design Partners
Organisations connected to playground design, accessible equipment, surfacing, recreation, parks and community planning.
Business Supporters
Businesses that want to support practical inclusion, accessible play information and positive community impact.
Why partnership matters
Families often need more than a playground name. They need to know whether a space has accessible surfacing, wheelchair-friendly paths, suitable toilets, parking, shade, seating and equipment their child can actually use.
Partners help make this information easier to find, easier to share and more visible across communities.
Part of a wider inclusion network
Accessible Playgrounds NZ is part of the Children with Disability NZ network of websites, which also includes Inclusive Playground Equipment NZ and Inclusive World NZ.
Together, these websites support families, councils, schools, community groups and organisations with practical information, lived-experience guidance and inclusive resources.
Become a partner
If your organisation shares our values, we would welcome a conversation about partnership, sponsorship, resource sharing or collaboration.
Together, we can help more children experience accessible play, community connection and a stronger sense of belonging.
